


Lower Extremity Orthosis

They are orthoses that encompass the joints in the lower limb. These orthoses are named based on the structures they support.
Ankle braces support the ankle. They are used for osteoarthritis, ankle injury, post-operative management, lax ligaments, prophylactic treatment. Ankle braces can either be hinged or fixed that depending on the prescription for your condition.
Ankle Foot Orthosis (AFOs) supports the ankle and foot. These devices manage cerebral palsy, drop foot, spasticity, etc.
Knee braces support the knee joint.
Knee Ankle Foot Orthosis (KAFO) supports the knee, ankle and foot. These are more complex orthoses that encompass more than one joint. It can be used in the orthotic management of polio, cases where knee support, as well as foot drop support, is needed or any other condition.
